Dental surgery / outpatient operations

Due to Dr. Franz Schlamminger's many years of experience, we perform almost all dental surgical procedures in our practice in Waldtrudering.

Gentle techniques and our careful manner help to ensure that the patient does not have to feel queasy before a tooth removal, root apex resection or other outpatient surgery.

Dental surgery is a special focus of our practice in Munich. Based on many years of experience, we remove teeth and wisdom teeth when necessary and take care of wound care. Of course, we also work together with your orthodontist if he or she suggests the removal of teeth or, for example, the shortening of ligaments (frenulum, lingual frenulum, etc.).

Root apex resections

Root apex resection is a surgical shortening of the root apex with removal of the diseased tissue around the root.

The aim of this treatment is to eliminate inflammation or other damage in the root tip area.

After most of our patients' root canal treatments, which are carried out with modern technology, root tip resections are unnecessary. Thanks to Dr Schlamminger's many years of experience, this treatment is carried out in a way that is gentle on the tissue and you do not have to be referred to colleagues.

Dental implants / implant bed preparation / bone augmentation

Placing dental implants is part of the daily routine in our dental practice in Munich Waldtrudering.

If the amount of existing bone is too small / too thin for the placement of an implant, we can add bone (bone augmentation by sinus lift, augmentation, bone block grafting, etc.) and thus improve the implant bed.

Gum surgery (periodontal surgery)

Periodontal surgery refers to surgical root planning, gum connective tissue grafts, gum correction and bone augmentation procedures.
